about the offerings
Chiropractic care can be a game changer for pregnancy. As baby or babies grow in-utero the pregnant person’s body goes through massive changes which can lead to pain, strains and altered movement patterns. We strongly believe that pregnancy can be pain-free and enjoyable for all.
Chiropractic care during pregnancy is gentle and safe. It looks to align the spine and pelvis to reduce stress on the body while relaxing tight muscles and ligaments. This not only helps reduce discomfort during pregnancy, but can also assist in preparing the body for labour and delivery. We have routinely assisted clients with common ailments of pregnancy such as: round ligament pain, pubic symphysis dysfunction (SPD), low back pain, pelvic girdle pain, waddling, among others.
Chiropractic care in the postnatal space can have a huge impact on mom’s physical and mental health. Improving the function of the spine and pelvis, allows mom to move through their daily tasks pain-free. When looking at chiropractic care after pregnancy, we are ensuring that joints are functioning as they should and soft tissues are able to move the body in the best way possible. Pregnancy causes significant changes in the body, and chiropractic care provides support in the healing process.
As with prenatal chiropractic care, the goal is to align the spine and pelvis, while relaxing tight muscles and ligaments. In the postnatal space, this becomes extremely important with common aches and pains such as, midback pain, headaches, neck pain or stiffness, low back pain, unresolved pelvic girdle pain, and carpal tunnel, among others
Chiropractic care is for everybody, even our little ones. Birth itself can be very hard on an infant and chiropractic care can help assess for any tension, misalignment and asymmetries. Dr. Casey has a wealth of knowledge and experience in paediatric care and can help with things such as:
- Latching difficulties
- Pre and post-frenectomy
- Missed/ delayed Milestones
- General wellness and development
Dr. Casey believes early assessment on infants, ideally within the first month of life, allows proactive identification of potential issues, prevents more serious complications from arising, and makes care more manageable.

Acupuncture is a form of treatment based on 3000+ yr old Chinese Medicine principles. A Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) or Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (TCMP) is well
informed and can best form a treatment protocol based on your specific symptoms. Studies have demonstrated direct effects of acupuncture on the central nervous system.

Psychotherapy is a term used to describe “talk therapy”, provided by regulated healthcare professionals. There are 6 regulatory bodies in Ontario who are permitted to provide psychotherapy services, nurses are one of them. People access psychotherapy services for a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, overwhelm, depression, stress, burnout, and low self-esteem. Often, it’s at a time when problems are interfering with daily life such as work, school, relationships, and times of major life transitions. Some of these include pregnancy, birth, loss, the first year postpartum, caregiving, living with chronic illness, intimate partnerships, and career. We ALL need a little help sometimes!
As a client, you are the expert of your own life and therefore therapy is a collaborative experience. A psychotherapist will act as your guide and soundboard to explore thoughts, ideas, and feelings to help you better understand the problems you’re struggling with. Psychotherapy is tailored to meet each individual client’s unique needs, as we all come to therapy with our own lived experiences. One of the biggest predictors of positive outcomes during therapy is the relationship between client and therapist.
